Very ambient, calm, and quality song. Sounds like something that could fit in a really atmospheric RPG or in a movie. Seriously, man, you are making some nice stuff. You should make it longer and add variation to it. Would be pretty epic, I think.

Damn dude. So catchy, and I love the atmosphere in the intro. You are really getting amazing, I swear. :D I love that square-ish sounding pluck, too. The whole song is really quality. And let me tell you, your beats have really improved. I love the beat in this. :D Anyways, congrats on the masterpiece. :) Cant wait to hear more man.

You are amazing. The recording is perfect, the mastering is amazing and smooth, and the whole song is just put together really well.
Vocals could only add the the perfection. Hope to them added at some point.

Glad you went back and worked on this. To be honest, I always thought a bit more could've been done with the idea (although I sucked at the time I collaborated with ya). I'm definitely liking all the stuff you've done with this new version.

I do want to say a couple things, though. The slow part with the bits I made, sounds a bit empty. Some sub bass or something could've have been added there. The high end is a bit on the quiet side, too. Although, that would probably be because of the pad you added later on having a lot of highs....

Anyway, glad you went back and worked on this again. It sounds very nice. Good job!

P.S. Should review my music sometime. I've gotten quite a bit better, I think. lol

This is some epicsauce. I do like F-777's advice on the vocals, though. Would be cool if it was more highpassed. Anyway, I would also like to see a build there at some point. It seems like it is at the end, but I wish it would've sooner, tbh. It got a bit boring sounding after about 2 minutes in.
But, yeah, this is still awesome. Good job. Tell me when you make another. ;D

Great job to both of you. I'm not sure how much different this one is from the one tigger888 showed me last night, but the piano seems to sound alot better now. :P
Anyway, the song is pretty awesome.

I do think the ending was kind of weird. The kick stopped in an odd stop, mostly.
Also, at think at some point between 1:20-2:20 there shoulda been some drop or something, because although there is some variation, there is no real build or anything. It's terribly bad, but a drop, second build, and then outro would probably be a bit better than what you've got now. But hell, I don't know.

Anyway, this is still great. The production quality is awesome, too. Great job guys!

I see what you mean. This version is a simpler mix then my usual music. Even I am not to sure about it at this point. But odds are I'm going to completely redo the build at some point since the flp for this version has been corrupted... again...
My computer has been very uncooperative these days and odds are it will soon verge on unusability. So look forward to hearing allot less music by me in the comming weeks/months.

My favorite song from you guys!

Tbh, I adore this song. The singing may be a lot like other mainstream artists, but I like it nonetheless. (and, lol, I totally listen to all that stuff, anyway). Anyway, this is higher quality than most of the stuff I here that sounds like this, too. The producing was done very well.
So, yeah, great job guys. It would be awesome to hear some more songs in this kind of style in the future. Would be awesome.

Definitely reminds me of something like Nubbinownz, SessileNomad, or similar. I'm really liking it, too.

I do want to say, that the first piano doesn't sound as high quality as I would have liked to have been. Also, at 4:10-4:30 or so, there are some odd notes. It seems to be done on purpose, but I'll point them out just in case. :P

But, yeah, this is pretty awesome. Great job.

[Hatchets and Heartaches Pt.II]

It's been awhile. ;)

This is alright, and the idea is pretty cool, but it definitely sounds unfinished and a lot more mixing could be done.

The piano could use some more reverb or something to make it wider, at least during the intro. Some better panning of the piano could help with that, too, or just adding a subtle pad, whatever you'd want. It just needs something else there.

There's some real nice accompaniment to the piano after the song kicks in, but there's not much to the song after that.

Also, since I'm a bit nit-picky with basses, I will say the one you've got here is a bit harsh and could sound better. Maybe you were going for that, but I tend to use a lot of effects on my basses and I prefer them that way(I generally use two mixer channels, too, lol). This one just sounds "raw", I guess.

Finally, the beat stands out. That could be what you were going for, I dunno. It just bothers me a bit.

But, yeah, this is still pretty cool. :)
