I loled at the kid's voice

It's definitely interesting. The intro was bit annoying with the kid's voice, atleast at first, but it turns into quite the epic song afterwards, especially once the piano comes in.
I really wish the song was longer, because the song ended just when I was really getting into it. Oh well.

XD!

Haha, nice. I really want to try Dubstep myself now. This is just pure trip.

I do want to say that bit where it's just the beat is a bit empty and didn't fit in the best. At first, it's building up after that drop, but it stops after a bit and that's where the problem is. It's not much of a problem, but it bothered me a little.

Otherwise, the song is good. As you said, the mixing isn't amazing, but it's listenable. The idea is quite nice. Overall, great song.

Breed responds:

One thing I try to do a lot is have contrasting duple/triple sounds with percussion and instruments, and in this piece I do less contrast and more direct duple/duple sound and triplet/triple sounds between the two. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. In this case perhaps it's comes off as foreign, take another few listens and you will find that they fit together almost perfectly, which is something that sounds off actually(if that makes any sense idk, i tried). Thanks for the review mate!

Cheers!

Wtf?!?!

Trippy as fuck. Loving this so much. Great!

fearing responds:

Much appreciate my friend, thanks very much!

It's me again

I like this. It makes me want to dance. Sounds finished to me, too.
Good job.

aliaspharow responds:

Lol im dancing while i make this. thats why I'm working so slow right now.

Edited the song allot, you should check it out again.

Lol

This is good too, y'know.
BTW, you work fast (or I work very slow).
Anyways, good loop.

aliaspharow responds:

nah i work lightning fast. I'm pretty renowned for that. Glad yall liked it =D

Wow

This is amazing. Real nice atmosphere you've got with this song. Everything sounds great.
Great job, man. :)

aliaspharow responds:

Thanks again man! :D
Your reviews are allways really supportive. I appreciate it.

Definitely epic.

Loving this. Not much to say, besides that I really like it. I don't see much room for improvement, honestly.
I will say the kick is almost drowned out by some of the sounds during the 3rd minute. But, I was still able to hear it, so I guess there is no actually problem there. XD

Anyway, Great job!

aliaspharow responds:

thanks man il be sure to check out your work once i get a chance =D

Soundin a bit empty at times

My biggest gripe is the emptiness of the song, especially when you've got the bass going. I'm thinking it needs more low-end. The rest is pretty much perfect. I love when the pads and stuff come in, they sound spot on.
Keep making stuff, man.

Breed responds:

Yea with that chaotic of a lead/bassline I found it hard to incorporate too many other melodies, but you are right, it needs something....Thanks for the review man. I have to get back into being active with stuff (full time college student + lots of behind the curtains work going on lately).

Cheers!

I'm down with this.

It got me bobbin my head. I don't have much experience with dubstep, but it sounds very nice to me. My only real gripe is that it got repeptitive. There wasn't really a drop and it only barely had a build. Dubstep is kind of like that, but I still would have liked either a drop or a little more of a buildup.
Overall, the song is still quite well done. Good job.

Not bad...

...but needs a bit of work.
I am in pretty much complete agreement with everything PenguinSam has already said. I will add a few things, though.

I want to first stress that the song sounds very empty. I really sounds bare and needs some stuff going on in the background to really sound nice. It's not bad, but it could make it alot better.

Also, I noticed (this could be just my preferences, but...) that alot of the sounds you used such as some of the synths and the drums sounded fairly cheesy. You may have done it on purpose, but stuff like that can bother me alot. Best advice on that would be to experiment and just pick sounds that "go best" together. I suppose it just takes alot of practice and experimenting.

So, that's pretty much it. Good luck in the contest. :)

cowdog2 responds:

well yea, i purposely made this song sound cheesy. I was just really trying to aim for that egyptian sound. I was looking through alot of the chord progression and motives that they use on the internet and It came out sounding like this. I don't normally do alot of techno, so i'm pretty inexperienced at it. I originally wanted to make a metal song, but i don't have any of my recording equipment.
